Our Lessons
Whether you want to learn the correct swing plane for creating a draw or just make solid contact; we have the knowledge and facility to help you meet your goals. Our teaching is centered around the following:
- Setup fundamentals including grip, posture, and alignment
- Body motion, mechanics, and ball striking
- Understanding cause and effect, swing plane
- The short game
- Eliminate topping and slicing
- Equipment recommendations
Our Video Teaching Studios
A picture is worth 1,000 words! Improvements are easier to make when you see your swing on our state-of-the-art video systems. We will analyze your swing, compare it to a professional tournament player, and help you take your new swing onto the golf course.
How to get started
New golfers can start with a class or sign up for a private lesson. We can assist you in choosing the correct size club. Club fitting, regripping or reshafting is also available.
Taking it to the course
An on-course orientation is offered for new golfers. Play golf on an area course with a golf professional and other new golfers. Learn about golf etiquette and rules that you can take to the course. For the more experienced golfer, our on-course playing lesson will help you learn important tips on strategy, club selection, and reading greens.

Steve Reuhl — PGA Class A Head Professional
Steve is a Puget Sound native who graduated from the University of Washington in 1975. He is a “Class A” member of the PGA of America and has been teaching at the Columbia Super Range since 1993. Steve has worked with golfers of all levels. He is most rewarded when he sees his students improve their game. |

Kathy DeNeui — LPGA Class A Professional
Whether you are a brand new golfer or single digit handicap, Kathy can help you reach your goals. She follows the LPGA model of instruction and drills based on your learning style to create your desired ball flight. Kathy has been teaching golf at Columbia Super Range since 1999, and has completed the five-year LPGA teaching program to class A. By forming a women's golf league Kathy has created opportunity for hundreds of women golfers to play this wonderful game and network at the same time.

Kevin Mackay — PGA Class A Professional
Kevin started his career at the University of Montana where he was the Golf Professional from 1981 to 1987. He became a Class A PGA member in 1987. After four years teaching golf in California he joined Columbia Super Range in 1992. Kevin owns and operates Class A Golf and lives in Mill Creek with his wife and two children.

Ric Colling — Golf Professional
Ric became a golf professional and started teaching at Columbia Super Range in 1995. He grew up in the Spokane area and has always lived in Washington State. He began playing golf at age seven and truly loves the game. Ric believes in teaching the sound fundamentals for better ball striking and enjoys watching his students master the game.

Our Facility
Columbia Super Range offers the finest learning and practice facility in the area. We have been ranked in the top 100 ranges in the country by Golf Range Association of America for the past 5 years. The facility features:
50 tee driving range-
Hit to realistic target greens, comfortable heated, lighted, and covered stalls, also Top Flite range balls.
9-hole chipping and putting course:
Large putting green, practice bunker, and chipping area with various lies.
Golf leagues and handicap:
- Weekday and Saturday women�™s league
- Men�™s tournament league with traveling tournaments & events
- USGA GHIN handicap

Membership Program
Our range is a public facility affiliated with Columbia Athletic Clubs. We offer member discounts on buckets of balls, lessons, and the 9-hole chipping & putting course.
